Essential Job Functions:
Work as a member of large multifunctional project teams to execute major capital projects.
Critical role in developing PFD’s, P&ID’s, material and energy balances for front-end design engineering.
Ability to apply process chemistry in process improvements.
Assist in plant start-up activities.
Provide technical support to R&D, marketing, and sales as required.
Manage maller-scale (<$200K) process improvement and capital projects.
Job Requirements:
Must have B.S. in Chemical Engineering, M. S. in Chemical Engineering desired.
Three to ten years of experience in a process engineering role.
Experience in a plant process engineering function or other chemical manufacturing role.
Experience with field verification of P&ID’s.
Strong mechanical aptitude with a background in process equipment and solids handling.
Experience includes development of PFD’s, P&ID’s, equipment layouts, equipment lists and specifications.
Should have familiarity with a variety of equipment in the processing industry, including pumps, heat exchangers, reactors, filtration, flow measurement, conveyors, mills, and bulk solid/powder material transfer equipment.
Familiar with the various aspects of process safety management (PSM), including OSHA requirements, PHA’s, management of change, mechanical integrity, and relief valve sizing.
Ability to perform conceptual and detailed process designs.
Ability to develop strong working relationships with the plants.
Plant design and engineering experience essential.
Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
Capacity to organize and prioritize projects.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to manage both internal resources and outside engineering contractors to get process design work completed.
Able to make effective verbal and written presentations to audiences ranging from plant operating staff to engineering and plant management.
Ability to travel up to 40%.

Job Responsibilities:
Monitor, validate and continuously improve production of adhesives.
Determine critical parameters for producing products and develop control charts using statistical techniques and data based analysis.
Responsible for optimization and debottlenecking of production and packaging processes.
Support manufacturing personnel in Throughput Enhancement and Efficiency Improvements through process and packaging trials.
Provide trouble-shooting support for production issues.
Support development and improvements to planned and predictive maintenance programs.
Responsible for small capital projects within local manufacturing location.
Responsible for safety improvements for current and new processes.

Job Requirements:
B.S. in Chemical Engineering required
Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing process environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control, Six Sigma and Lean.
Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM) required.
Must demonstrate sound judgment, be well organized, take initiative, and be flexible to facilitate resolution of complex issues.
Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication.
Strong computer skills and experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities is required. Must be able to drive results and work effectively in a team setting.

In plant Process/Production engineer. – Delaware
This engineer will be will responsible for quality and process troubleshooting, process optimization and improvement ideas as well as their implementation to accomplish site objectives by the most safe, economical and technically feasible methods.

Advanced Process Control (APC) Engineer: NY state
Primarily responsible for identifying system-wide cost reduction opportunities using advanced process control, system optimization, process systems engineering analyses, and multivariate statistical principles. You will conceptualize, design, execute and implement advanced control strategies using model predictive control (MPC) and/or Real Time Optimization (RTO) technology. You will also interface with Global Operations and Operations Engineering support teams in maintaining these advanced process control and optimization applications at peak efficiency and providing guidance for optimal plant configurations using model-based optimization tools.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering and 4+ years of relevant industry experience OR Master’s degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering and 1+ years of relevant experience OR PhD degree in Chemical/Biomedical Engineering
Understanding of modern control theory, statistical analysis, process modeling and systems optimization
Knowledge of model-based advanced (centralized multivariable) process control & optimization theory and practice
Experience with model predictive control software such as: DMCplus or RMPCT
Good knowledge of steady-state and dynamic process analysis using off-line process simulation tools like Hysys, Aspen Plus, Pro/II, etc.
Solid understanding of multivariate statistical principles like PCA/PLS for use in plant data analysis
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time (domestic and international)
Knowledge of plant instrumentation systems (Rockwell, Delta V, Honeywell, Emerson etc.).
Advanced primary control loop tuning skills

Job Description
Staff Manufacturing Quality Engineer ensure products and assemblies meet specifications and all applicable product quality, design and manufacturing process requirements. Provide leadership in areas of product quality assurance and quality engineering to drive business objectives, continuous process and product improvements. Develop and maintain procedures to ensure that statistical control is maintained in the critical processes.
Essential Behaviors and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Work closely with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Development and Technical Support to ensure high quality products and processes are developed and deployed. The activities include product design verification, process validation, risk assessment, and FMEA.
Drive systematic approach in problem solving and process improvement using quality engineering tools include, but are not limited to, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Statistic Process Control, Design of Experiment.
Conduct complaint investigations and work with appropriate parties in providing corrective and preventive actions based on sound engineering analysis.
Monitor and report on First-Pass Yield (FPY), Defect Per Unit (DPU), Customer Feedback (CF) and other necessary Quality metrics to ensure high product quality and process improvement opportunities are identified.
Review and ensure all process, material and procedural changes are engineering sound and in compliance to all FDA QSR/cGMP, ISO, and Quality Policies of company.
Develop systems to identify, analyze, correct and prevent issues that adversely affect product safety and performance.
Provide Manufacturing systems expertise, knowledge, and leadership in support of production and testing.
Qualifications and Experience
BS degree in engineering from accredited college or university.
6 years experience in a regulated (FDA, ISO, & GMP) and fast-paced manufacturing area.

Hands-on experience in statistical analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Quality Engineer or Reliability Engineer.
